Grace, my heroine in my new release 14 Days of ‘Ohs’ can’t bake a lick in her tiny ocean side bungalow, but in anticipation of the holidays coming up (and some just past) I thought it’d be fun to share my recipe for Cream Cheese Spritz Cookies.

1 C Butter

1 C Sugar

4 oz softened cream cheese

1 egg yolk

2 ½ C Flour

½ t Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350.

Cream your butter, then add your sugar and cream cheese. I use my stand mixer for this, but a hand mixer would work just fine.

Once those are creamed together, add egg yolk and vanilla.

Finally, add flour slowly and mix until thoroughly combined.

The original recipe I tinkered with said to chill the dough overnight, but I find that makes it too stiff for my spritzer – in fact I broke my first one making these- so I like to make them as soon as I finish the dough. If you’d prefer to chill the dough, let it warm up some before you try to press it.

Bake cookies as 350 for 8 minutes or until the bottoms are lightly browned.

Top with colored sugar, M&Ms or other candies while they’re still warm.

Title: 14 Days of ‘Ohs’

Author: Sarah Bella

Blurb: Their love led to two weeks of “Ohs!” Some were good, some were bad, and some were all about the sex.

Three years ago, Grace Stevens packed up, left home and hasn’t looked back since. Now she gives snorkeling tours at an exclusive resort on a private island in the Caribbean, filling her days with fun and sun and her bed with the occasional nameless stranger.

Logan Shayde could use a healthy dose of losing himself and the Azul Isle is just the place to do it. Grace seems like a nice distraction until, after one explosive argument, she kicks Logan out of her cabana. Logan’s a man who’s used to getting what he wants, and what he wants is Grace. Now he’ll do anything for one more night with her.

Every moment leads to another surprise, to another discovery, to another wonder, to another disappointment, and the most unexpected thing of all: the “Oh!” of two lovers’ eyes meeting – and then their bodies.

Kathy ~~ thank you so much for sharing, Sarah.
